The Privacy tab: Optional tracking with Product analytics and Session replay switches, and Your data with Download my data and Delete my account

Optional tracking

Two switches, both off unless you turned them on:

  • Product analytics: pages visited and features used.
  • Session replay: clicks, scrolling and navigation; never what you type. Dataset previews and the Settings page are masked from it.

A change applies at once and is saved to your account (it is the same choice as the banner on your first visit). Turning a switch off stops that tracking from then on.

Download my data

Download my data saves a file named ucmt-labs-data-<date>.json with what your account holds: your profile, your organization membership, consent records, activity and usage records, your domain choices and what the analysis engine keeps for you. Audit rows, analytics events and usage logs are capped at 10,000 each. The message Your data was downloaded. confirms it.

Your dataset files are not inside the file, and this release has no button to download a dataset again: keep your original files.

Delete my account

Delete your account?

Delete your account?

The confirmation dialog: Delete your account? with the consequences, a password field, and Cancel and Delete my account buttons

Delete my account asks for your password and explains what happens:

  • The account is closed immediately: you are signed out everywhere at once and cannot sign in again.
  • Your e-mail address is released for new registrations at once. Signing up with it again creates a brand-new, empty account; nothing from the deleted one carries over.
  • Your remaining personal data and datasets are erased within 30 days, and from backups 30 days after that.
  • It cannot be undone.

The server refuses in two cases and says why:
